Candles and the nineteenth century.

This is what surrounds me now. Not altogether unpleasant, especially with the steady soundtrack of falling rain. If a certain female was in town this could have actually been a most entertaining evening. Alas, i am left with but a vivid imagination and a mostly charged cellphone as entertainment. Had actually managed to get into the more difficult raids on WoW, so of course the power went out.

My only sincere gripe is that there is not a bright enough candle for me to illuminate a book, for i feel that this would be the most productive way for me to spend my time. And with that the lights come on.

A return of sorts

A sincere apologies to all of you who actually read this blog and have maligned its absence the past few weeks, but life tends not to give me proper scheduling for this blog. Well soon after The Easter Wabbitfest @ Robert's, I was soon to hop on a plane to the fair city of Memphis. Well, at least it's fair if you stay in the downtown area. Beale street was nice, guess I didnt go there @ night so I missed most of the insanity. Made a trek to the outer reaches of the city for an interview with Memphis City Schools, and thus witnessed a great shift in the socioeconomic realities of the city. A sidenote, that was the first school I had been to with metal detectors installed with police providing a constant vigil of those passing underneath said device. Well after an interview process which definitely had its hiccups, it seems as if I dazzled enough for them to ask me to join their fellowship program (Job track for non-education majors). Well we shall see.
Another part of my life had struck anew with the commencement of the baseball season, as many of you know, I give the redsox all the attention a significant other would occupy if I wasnt single. Though it seems fate has deteremined that she shall start off the season as a cruel mistress, imagine the jagermeister of major league baseball if you will. So as I mourn the anemic performance of my beloved team, it has allowed me to address the more romantic *gag* sphere of my personal life. So it seems I always would rather choose a relationship with value and obstacles than one easier and more readily available, a trend which seems to be dominant the current relationship with a femlare. If you are sitting here hoping for a name, good luck, because you should know how secretive I can be. Though the long distance flirting and whatnot seems to be having a fairly positive impact, and with imminent relocation a most likely possibility, those hurdles could lower a fair amount in the near future.
Speaking of which, soon I depart for Virginia and job interviews and whatnot there. A far more desirable neighborhood and compensation have really pushed this position to the forefront of my agenda, and I hope that said interview goes swimmingly. If all goes as planned, I could try crashing White House parties soon (just kidding secret service, if they are seriously making you read this my apologies).
That about wraps it up. Would have mentioned something more about the amberchris wedding, but seeing as most of my followers were there, it seems a bit redundant to go over the events. Wish them all the best in their new life together.
